Taciana Fonseca Marques

Taciana Fonseca Marques is the founder of the firm and has more than 20 years’ experience in the domestic and international markets. She was head of legal affairs for the IFC/World Bank, in the United States and Latin America, between 2011 and 2019, having worked in over 20 jurisdictions. Prior to the IFC/World Bank, she worked at two large and renowned law firms in São Paulo. She holds a law degree from PUC-SP and a master’s degree and fellowship in Infrastructure Law from the University of Denver, Colorado, USA. Taciana is also a specialist in mediation and conflict resolution, qualifying from Harvard Law School, in the United States (2018) and she recently completed the Advanced Boardroom Program for Women (ABP-W), a post-MBA qualification aimed at women serving on Boards of Directors, with the focus on Risk, Corporate Governance and Innovation, an international program run by the Saint Paul School of Business (São Paulo) and Tel Aviv University (Israel). Taciana has extensive experience in corporate reorganization, estate and succession planning, corporate governance, M&A, structured projects, and debt restructuring. She works in all areas of the firm, except taxation.
